Jennifer Carroll

Jennifer Carroll – Principal

Jennifer has 10+ years practicing law. Most of her experiences comes from advising and helping technology startups through all life phases: from formation, to venture financing to exits (mergers and acquisitions). A list of representative deals in just the last 3 years can be found here.


She is also a registered patent attorney with focused study and practice involving intellectual property matters such as patent counseling, trademark prosecution, licensing, and SaaS agreements. More recent focus has been on preparing her clients for the changing data privacy landscape, including GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Jennifer has extensive experience assisting companies navigate early to mid-stage venture financing deals, counseling founders on best practices for company set-up, IP protection and keeping valuable employees happy.


Additionally, Jennifer serves as the General Counsel to several technology startups around town on a fractional basis. Jennifer provides counsel to the C-suite, negotiation of customer contracts, especially SaaS contract here in the US and internationally.


Jennifer was previously Corporate Counsel for a Big Data SaaS company and worked for a Top Ten Big Law firm in the Corporate and Securities practice group.


Jennifer is licensed and active to practice in Texas and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, but is also admitted to practice in DC, Maryland, and Ohio.

Myra Dioquino

Myra Dioquino – Attorney

Myra has 3+ years’ experience practicing law and working with startups of various industries through formation and growth.


She is also a registered patent attorney with experience in trademark and patent protection, including registration, maintenance, and enforcement.


Myra was previously Corporate Counsel for a business firm representing innovative social impact businesses and nonprofits. She also worked for a legal process outsourcing company to provide managed legal services for Fortune 100 pharmaceutical companies.


Myra is licensed and active to practice in Texas and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
